Demonstrating its commitment to preserving regional heritage and fostering sportsmanship, the All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) actively supported the 1st North-East Indigenous Games & Cultural Meet held in February 2026. Recognizing the physical demands on participating athletes and the massive logistical requirements of a regional event, AMUCO deployed dedicated medical teams, first-aid units, and comprehensive logistical assistance to ensure the well-being of all participants, delegates, and spectators.
Beyond providing healthcare support and operational relief, the organization used the platform to advocate for the promotion of traditional indigenous games across the North-East. By backing events that celebrate shared heritage, AMUCO aimed to strengthen cross-cultural solidarity, encourage youth participation in traditional sports, and preserve the rich cultural fabric of the indigenous communities.
