The history of Manipur is made with the contributions of all the inhabitant communities of the state, Each community is equally important in the making of Manipur. Each has its part and role played to make the whole complete. There is an urgent and essential responsibility for all the communities to promote inter-ethnic,inter-tribal and inter-communal harmony, peace and prosperity through mutual and stronger understanding among the people. To relies this, we need to come together and reason out the differences, that divide us and sort out strategies that unite us.

Old grudges and painful records of the past must be forfeited and forgotten in order to accept new and better changes and progress. To embrace development for better and greater progress of the people and state, our mental outlook and understanding about our common existence must be lifted up to higher ideal of life. We must appreciate, recognize and respect each other community and rights in the spirit of humanity above religious and socio-traditional differences. Interreligious tolerance and social unity are one basic necessity and foundation for social progress and prosperity of the people. The history of Manipur since time immemorial have been factor that constitute and consolidate the present state of affairs. Now it is our choice and will to change or remain of who we are to who we want to become and be known to the world.
