A special discussion on current Manipur issues was organised by All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) and Rual United Clubs’ Organisation at the community hall of WDYC,Lamdeng Khunou stadium, approximately 1 pm yesterday 25th August 2023.The special discussion was attended by clubs, associations, organisations, Mera Paibis, and local floks under the jurisdiction of RUCO.
Maibam Sureshkuar, former co-ordination, Department of Human Rights, Manipur University, discussed human rights violations in the current instability and the responsibility of the public, Club, Organisation, and Meira Paibis in dealing with such crimes.
Ito Tongbram, AMUCO advisor, restated the stand of maintaining the territorial integrity of the state and to fnee united anything that will harm Manipur’s territorial integrity.
L. Memchoubi, President of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur, discusses the importance of women and Imas in today’s environment.
Nando Luwang, President of AMUCO, also spoke on the current unrest in the state and his commitment to protecting Manipur’s territorial integrity.
