The All Manipur United Clubs’ Organization (AMUCO) played a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of athletes and performers during the 1st North-East Indigenous Games & Cultural Meet, held in February 2026.
Recognizing the physical demands of indigenous sports and the scale of the gathering, AMUCO deployed a dedicated medical team to provide round-the-clock healthcare services. Their contributions included:
- On-site First Aid: Immediate treatment for minor injuries and exhaustion sustained during the rigorous sporting events.
- Emergency Response: Establishing a rapid-response system to manage any serious medical contingencies for participants hailing from across the North-East.
- Health Wellness Stations: Providing hydration, basic check-ups, and physiotherapy support to ensure the competitors remained in peak condition.
